Environmental architecture firm Tres Birds was commissioned to create an art installation in downtown Denver, Colorado, that would remind folks of the importance of leaving their homes and offices to get a little fresh air from time to time. Using reclaimed furniture, office supplies and lots and lots of greenery, the Tres Birds team created a few overgrown vignettes that look like they’ve been through the apocalypse. To me, these seem more threatening than inviting, but I applaud any use of a public space that invites discussion about our relationship with nature.
