By now, everyone and their mom has seen these beautiful photographs, shot by Parker Fitzgerald for Kinfolk magazine. So I wasn’t in a rush to repost them. But I thought, as we bid farewell to summertime, with spring no more than a distant memory, that these pictures have become rather apropos. After all, the colors of summer blooms have faded, just like an ice cream cone melts away. There won’t be much more of either until spring returns, but, in the meantime, we’ve got a lot of great things to look forward to: fall color, cozy nights and pumpkin pies, just to name a few.
